SoundExchange and BandPage have identified $2 million of unclaimed digital performance royalties for thousands of act. SoundExchange, according to the release, is a non-profit aimed at distributing digital performance royalties and BandPage helps bands improve their online presence.

The royalties were due to members of BandPage. SoundExchange has distributed more than $1 billion to artists and labels for performances on satellite and Internet radio and digital cable, according to the company.
