It appears that Dusty, who died in 2003, is an institution in Australia. Here is a bio.
Other songs are Pub with No Beer, In Charleville and Duncan, which is addictive. Of special note is The Band Played Waltzing Matilda. Written by an immigrant to Australia, the song deals with the country’s involvement in Gallipoli, a battle during World War I. I’d say it was a bloody battle during WWI, but that would be redundant.
