Dashboard is sort of the dream you would have after having a spicy meal, reading a bit of Moby Dick and watching an episode or two of The Deadliest Catch. It’s a great song and video.

The band probably named themselves Modest Mouse because the greatest name in the history of rock-and-roll — When People Were Shorter and Lived Near the Water — was taken.
